01Who we are

This website, www.jackrobertphoto.com, is run by Jack Robert Photo, a commercial photography studio in Greenville, SC. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Jack Robert Photo.

02What you send us

Every quote and contact form on this site asks for your name and email. Depending on the form, it may also ask about your company, phone number, the service you need, your timing, how many people are involved, your project and how you heard about us. A few forms let you attach a brief, brand guide or reference files.

The forms run on Formspree, a form service that passes your message on to us. If you ask one of our price calculators to email you an estimate, your name, email and the estimate details reach us through Formspree too.

We use what you send to reply, scope your project and prepare your quote. If you call or email us directly, we keep that conversation so we can follow up.

03Booking a session

Online scheduling, including the free 15-minute discovery call, runs on cal.com. When you book, you give cal.com your name and email, plus anything you choose to add, such as notes, and cal.com passes the booking on to us. On pages where the booking calendar opens in a window over the page, cal.com’s booking script loads with the page.

Headshot sessions book instantly with a 50% non-refundable retainer (up to $1,000); event photography and residential and commercial architecture are reserved by request. For a headshot session, you pay the retainer through cal.com when you book, and cal.com processes that payment through Stripe, which handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.

A 50% non-refundable retainer (up to $1,000) holds your date; the balance is invoiced at proof delivery; finals are released on payment. The full terms are on the Booking Terms page.

Booking for a business? We use your billing details to issue invoices. A certificate of insurance (COI), a W-9 and Net-30 invoicing are available for approved business clients.

04Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people visit, how they found us and what kind of device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell one visit from another.

Our own tracking also counts a few actions, such as sending a form, opening or completing a booking, tapping our phone number or email address, or downloading a PDF estimate, along with the page where it happened. What you type into our quote and contact forms is never sent to Google Analytics.

Squarespace, which hosts this site, also sets its own cookies when you visit. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.

05Fonts, video and other services

Our typefaces load from Google Fonts and Fontshare. Your browser requests them directly, so each service sees your IP address.

Our videos are hosted on Vimeo, and every Vimeo player on this site has Vimeo’s Do Not Track setting turned on. On our video production page, a player is part of the page and loads with it. On our healthcare page, a player loads as you scroll to it, before you press play. On our law firm page, the video preview images load from Vimeo, and each player loads only when you press play.

Our price calculators can save your estimate as a PDF. When you point at or press the “Download PDF estimate” button, your browser loads a small PDF tool from cdnjs, a public code library run by Cloudflare, so Cloudflare sees your IP address. The PDF itself is made on your device.

Links to our Google reviews, LinkedIn, Instagram, ASMP and the BBB take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

06Your photographs

Edited galleries are delivered through an online gallery. Every session includes a standard usage license, and copyright stays with Jack Robert Photo. The full details are on the Image Licensing page.

07Who else sees your information

We share your information only with the services that help run this site and the business, or when the law requires it. Today those services are Squarespace (hosting), Formspree (forms), cal.com (booking), Stripe (headshot retainers, through cal.com), Google (analytics and fonts), Fontshare (fonts), Vimeo (video) and Cloudflare (the PDF estimate tool). Each one handles your data under its own privacy policy.

We never sell or rent your information. If your project needs an NDA, one is available for approved business clients. Just ask.

08How long we keep it

We keep inquiry emails and booking records for as long as needed to serve you and meet tax and legal obligations.

09Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.

10Your choices and questions

Want to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or stop hearing from us? Just ask.
